Ercol Studio Couch upholstered in blue

Refurbished vintage Ercol 355 Studio Couch/sofa bed in a blonde wood finish.

Inspired by Scandinavian design, the Studio Couch was designed by Lucian Ercolani in 1958 and manufactured by Ercol in the 1960s/70s. 

The cushions have been reupholstered in blue woven fabric. They are removable and the back can be folded down to create a sofa bed.

This piece is in good vintage condition. The frame is solid and sturdy. There are a few scuffs, scratches and marks commensurate with age but nothing which is too noticeable.  The webbing on the seat is Pirelli webbing in brand new. The upholstery is brand new as is the foam inside for fully fire retardant.
