Beautiful curved armchair designed by Zenon Baczyk for Swarzedz of Poland. Solid stained beech, with curved arms.
This chair was designed by one of the greatest Polish designers of the post-war period – Zenon Bączyk. It was manufactured in the second half of the 1960s by Swarzędz Factory.
This chair is low, wide structure and it's excellent proportions style refers to Scandinavian design.
It has 2 thick new foam cushions which have been newly upholstered in blue woollen fabric. The webbing has also just been replaced.
This armchair is now fully fire retardant.

Condition-wise, this chair is in very good vintage condition. There are some signs of wear, commensurate with age - some small scratches and scuffs, nothing major. The wood is in good condition with no breaks or cracks. The upholstery is new.
