Herbert Terry anglepoise lamp in black with rimmed shade

Designed by George Carwardine for Herbert Terry & Sons and made in Redditch, England, this is a lovely example of an original 1930s designed anglepoise lamp.

This is the early (30s) model with rimmed shade, two-stepped base and adjustable springs. 

In its original black painted finish with orignal bulbholder and new vintage style braided flex.

In good vintage condition with a few scratches and scuffs, in keeping with its age.

A great example of a timeless classic.
