Eames Herman Miller DSW side chairs in navy blue, light greige, light ochre and parchment with slight imperfections

Product code: 4241

Set of 4 DSW side chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames and made by Herman Miller in the late 50s/early 60s.   Original fibreglass shells mounted on shockmounts with wooden bases. Colours (left to right) are: parchment, navy blue, light ochre  and seafoam green.

The contemporary version of this chair is made of polypropylene, which in our opinion, is not a patch on these original fibreglass models, which age beautifully.

All with original Herman Miller stamp.  Mounted on dowel bases.

These are grade B seconds with very very slight flaws to the shells (they are nearly grade A so very small imperfections) so that they don't meet the grade of the high standard chairs we sell. Nonetheless, they are perfectly useable and sound and are priced accordingly.

Please see photos for specific details as to condition. In particular:

Navy Blue - Discolouration on seat

Light Greige - slight cosmetic crack on the lefthand side wear one side.

Light Ochre - small chip on side

Parchment - very fibery

They are all structurally sound.

The seats and bases will be dismantled for safer shipping but can be bought fully assembled if so desired. Please message us in this case and we will let you have a shipping quote.
